Jimmy Choo Campaign Switzerland.

Jimmy Choo asked me to shoot eight of the world’s biggest digital influencers in Zermatt, Switzerland for the winter “Snow Choo” Jimmy Choo campaign. Having shot a similar campaign with Jimmy Choo in Marrakesh, it was really exciting doing it again with a new group of girls and in an entirely different (and MUCH COLDER) location.

We stayed high in the mountains of the Swiss Alps and it was my first experience shooting in the snow, let alone 4000 meters up on the Matterhorn Glacier, which was needless to say unforgettable! I first tried snow boarding on the Matterhorn when I was 19, staying in a little hostel with my best friend, so it was exciting going back – albeit in much chicer settings!

Because we wanted to shoot so early in the season, the resort kindly opened up 2 weeks early for our team of 20 people which was quite amazing. To prevent pollution, Zermatt is a car-free town, although for 2 months a year, right before the ski season starts, they allow minor construction to take place – although no trucks are allowed in the town, so we saw multiple helicopters dangling everything from sofa’s to grand pianos flying through the sky as we were shooting, one landing precariously close to Pernille on the mountain!

A HUGE thanks to the amazing team at Jimmy Choo, who produced this shoot to perfection so that everything ran so smoothly – no easy feat. The beautiful resort Cervo Zermatt – which kindly opened their resort early to accomodate us, my incredible assistant Matteo, the fantastic hair and make-up team and of course, the 8 beautiful girls who were willing to give it their all, in sub zero temperatures, to create these images – you were all amazing!!
