I know I am a little late posting things … but it’s fashion week people!  Here is one of my favourite outfits from London Fashion Week.  I am having a little love affair with white at the moment and always love a pop of colour.  I think it is always good when wearing a structured high neck piece (which in this case is an Edwardian inspired beaded top by Christopher Esber) And well the glasses… how could I not love pink glasses?!

Peony Lim isn’t one to follow trends too closely and I think that is why I love shooting her – I love women who stay true to their personal style.

Peony is super chic and polished, although always with an edge.  Whether she is wearing a crisp white shirt, jeans and those KILLER Manolo’s; or a leather jacket, a plain white T paired with a sexy feather skirt, she always looks like herself… and during fashion week, that is rather refreshing.

I loved these YSL shorts the first moment I saw them… so much so I wore them twice over the hot NYFW.

Here I am over two different days in two different ways.

Day 1: I dressed them up with my Givenchy boots, pink Celine glasses, Emm Kuo bag and a vintage red jacket I found on my trip through California this summer.

Day 2: I dressed them down in my fun Burberry hat, a white Cos shirt, red Barton Pierra sunglasses and yellow Cole Haan sneakers.

2 days, 2 looks – both super fun!

I recently moved into a new house in London… right around the time that Tatler contacted me and asked if they could do a feature of me perhaps in my home.  Well how does one say to Tatler, “why that would be amazing… although you may have to mind the electrical cords and drills and grinders and ladders and boxes – oh and lack of any furniture… “

When having tea with the Editor, I broke the somewhat grim news that perhaps my home may not yet be the home she had envisaged. She simply replied, “no problem we’ll take the ladder and the boxes outside and drape you in Couture and diamonds darling…”

…and that is exactly why I LOVE TATLER!

I have also attached a BTS shot from inside… quite literally still a building site!!

I have always been a HUGE fan of  leather. My trusty Helmut Lang leather trousers (of which I have 3 pairs on rotation) are now somewhat of a second skin.  I invested  in my first pair of jeans the other day… although I can’t see to stay away from leather too long.

My favourite thing about these trousers is that you can wear them all year round.

(disclaimer “all year round – in most climates”- my dad did gasp in horror one year when I exited the plane, on arrival to a hot 105F Australian Summer’s day, in my leather trousers and had to peel them off of myself- literally.)

I love how recently girls are embracing leather in a more casual way.  From Rumi Neely’s cool complete leather ensemble, Jane Keltner de Valle’s luxe full skirt, to Model Montana Cox’s ity bity Scanlon and Theodore shorts… everywhere I look, I am seeing leather all year round.

Vogue asked me how I was going to shake up my fall wardrobe…

Blame it on my upcoming wedding,  but this season I am really drawn to a more romantic silhouette.   I fell in love with Jil Sander’s feminine strapless dresses and oversized cashmere coats in blush and white.
I’ve always loved classic lines although tend to throw in a bold shoulder or a bright colour, so this season I’m swapping fluro for rich luxe whites and experimenting with being more of a lady!

Who says you can’t wear white after labor day? White is my new black!

It may have something to do with my upcoming wedding, although I am currently obsessed.  I think it’s unexpected and very chic to sport an outfit all in one colour.

Here at the end of Paris fashion week,  I wore a Rue du Mail coat, Michael Kors sweaters, Céline pants and Converse shoes.
