Burgundy love outside Alexander Wang | My style

I love this outfit I wore to the SS13 Alexander Wang show at NYFW.

There are so many textures in this look with Vinyl (which was rather serendipitous as it started pouring with rain as we stepped out of the show!) leather, suede and lace.  I also love that somehow, even though all the shades of plum and burgundy are different, they all  work together.

  1. The jacket is great ineed, but I love the whole look. A real fun combination of reds and textures, good job!

It is a very cool look and I like every individual element but it all feels too much together like that. Mixing textures, colors, and prints? Wow! I think she is pulling it off better than anyone could hope for but I am not a big fan of that much mixing. I love, love, love the skirt though.

Peony Lim isn’t one to follow trends too closely and I think that is why I love shooting her – I love women who stay true to their personal style.

  4. OMG! You have matched this amazing outfit with the camera!!!
