There is nothing quite like a beautiful long red dress gliding through the streets to turn a few heads. It takes a confident woman to be able to work a full red ensemble and yet these beauties, whom I spotted all in Paris, are the perfect inspiration. Whether it be a printed floor length piece like Peony’s Isolda dress, a woolen 2 piece 40′s suit similar to Hanneli’s, a sexy lace number a la Catherine Baba, or a simple floor length dress worn by Abbey Lee and Catherine McNeil, all are equally head turning!
Ps, I know I have already posted the image of Catherine McNeil before (remember my post on our Harper’s Bazaar shoot together with naked babies and wearing couture under water?) although how could I not include her again! x

I love Natalia Alaverdian’s style. I always think of her as the accessory queen – Not one for an arm party, she always has just the right amount of jewels on to make her super feminine look a little more fun.
On the first afternoon of Couture I spotted her in this dreamy Dolce dress and fell so in love with her earrings (from the first picture) that two days later she brought me the address of the little shop in Florence where she found them. Super sweet. x

I just got back from a beautiful trip to the Couture shows in Paris and what a gorgeous trip it was! The sun was out and everyone was in colourful florals!
What I loved seeing was how everyone interpreted florals so differently. From Elena Perminova’s super sexy 50′s interpretation (cat eyes and all), to Caroline Seiber’s minimalist yet ethereal dress paired with simple flat sandals, to Model Tilda Lindstam’s laid back vintage sundress with a school backpack. No matter where you looked, Paris was full bloom in florals!
