I recently made a trip to Australia for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia and upon arriving home to London, I received these most flattering illustrations in my inbox from two very talented Australian artists.
Photographer and illustrator Giang Cao drew this picture of me from an image on the blog (remember when I rocked a Dion Lee dress (with a super high slit!!) Burberry coat, glasses and hat?)
Anyone who follows me on twitter will see that I am obviously in love with this image!
And then later that night, Pippa McManus drew this illustration of designer Dion Lee and I (I’m in his dress again) at the Burberry party. LOVE that we kind of look like brother and sister!
Here’s what we look like in real life!
It’s no secret I love Caroline Issa’s effortless style, remember when I featured a style profile on her?
That’s why I was so happy when Glamour UK magazine asked me to shoot a style profile on her for their pages. Here is one of the shots from our shoot. You can check out the full shoot here.
I love this look, it is perfectly Caroline, right down to the polished red lip and that killer smile.

Hey London, what happened to Summer?
Dreaming of California under these grey skies… although kind of loving still getting to wear my trench and mixing oversized denim and button up shirts, with little skirts like Codie in her Acne in Paris.
I love shooting real girls. That is not to say that the girls at fashion week are not ‘real’, although there is something so exciting about shooting girls who aren’t wearing head to toe Givenchy or Celine. Don’t get me wrong, I am a complete sucker for beautifully cut clothes and am a complete brand loyalist, although perhaps that is why I am so attracted to shooting students and young people who, although are most likely consciously (or subconsciously) aware of the trends, just wear what feels good, going about it all a little more organically.
I spent yesterday in Camden for Glamour, and here are a few of the amazing girls I met.

I have always loved a bit of over the shoulder action.
I rediscovered this love today whilst watching the Elie Saab Couture collection and trying to catch a glimpse of the back of the dresses to see what they would look like with a bit of an ‘over the shoulder’… and thus I delved into my archives to find everyone from Karlie Kloss, Bip Ling, Arizona Muse to everyone’s favourite dreamy blued eyed – the very classy Derek Blasberg – looking romantically to one side.
This weekend girls, I say, get into a bit of over the shoulder action!

It is no secret that Australian’s aren’t afraid of a little colour, although this season at Australian fashion week, everyone was getting all tropical!
Everywhere I looked, I saw palm trees on jumpers and florals eveywhere… from Tanja G’s tropical Versace x H&M sweater, Camilla and Marc’s dresses and pants (that were worn by almost all the bloggers) to Bree’s Christopher Kane flower clutch, Susie Bubble’s Karen Walker hat and Meg Gray’s Prada earings… no matter where you looked it was all flower power! Chloe Cumming Social Emissions
Chloe Sargeant, Swim with the Current
Susie Lau, Style bubble
Meg Gray, Gray Gardens
