I love this Herve Leger skirt. Remember when it actually had me dancing in front of the Eiffel Tower at the Couture shows with glee!?
Here is the same base outfit of a Prada shirt and Pink Herve Leger skirt in two different seasons. I love pieces that can transition from Summer to Winter, which you can wear season after season. x

Here is one of my favourite images of the entire fashion week in London!
Always amazing, always effortless…Taylor.
Watch behind the scenes at the Tiffany & Co. shoot for Vogue Australia.
So I just realised I never posted this behind the scenes video made by the very clever Rene Vaile from our Tiffany and Co shoot for Vogue.

I first met MJ in Sydney At Australian Fashion Week when I photographed her for an editorial for Vogue Australia, remember?
I was initially struck by how unbelievably beautiful and open she was, which all suddenly made sense when she told me she was from Alice Springs, one of the most remote and magestic parts of the Australian desert.
Although what I was really struck by, was that as still just a teenager, she had such incredible strength and presence in front of the camera.
It is quite rare to meet a girl like this who can transform in front of the camera into a strong woman that commands the entire teams attention and then instantly revert back into a sweet teenager the minute you put down the camera.
Here is MJ for Vogue.com (click the images to see) on her 17th birthday at London Fashion Week with her birthday bag from Mulberry and a gorgeous snood from her mum picked up in NYC. Now that's a 17th birthday to remember!
Thanks Net a Porter for including me on the best new bloggers list!

Here are some of my favourite girls from NYFW that were published on Australia’s Vogue.com
If you saw my earlier post from NYFW, you can see I love a good coat. I think, just like a great bag or shoe, a coat can make or break an outfit. So that’s why I love the diversity of the below coats, from Jess Hart throwning on a Balmain goat fur with trainers to the divine Emily Weiss who rocks her signature monochromatic palette so well by mixing a Derek Lam white shearling with my new fav (and SOLD OUT) shoes, the Alexander Wang Liya.
Wearing: Balmain Jacket, Vintage Led Zepplin Shirt, Balenciga Bag, Isabel Marant Pants
Emily Weiss from Into the Gloss
Wearing: Theyskens’ Theory Top, Derek Lam Jacket, Rag and Bone Jeans, Alexander Wang Shoes, Tommy Ton for Club Monaco bag
I was honored to be featured in a recent this NY times article alongside my lovely and talented friends, Tamu McPherson, Vanessa Jackman, Bridget Flemming and Hanneli Mustaparta.
“Ms. Lake, who appeared on the catwalk with Ms. Mustaparta at Alberta Ferretti’s prefall presentation in Milan, is another model-turned-photographer-turned-part-time-model. For the first day of Fashion Week, she donned a fur-sleeved jacket, leather pants and red suede ankle boots, with her Canon 5D Mark II on one shoulder and a Chanel purse dangling from the other.
“It’s like the first day back at school,” she said, waving as Ms. Mustaparta walked by. Glancing around for possible shots, she seemed unaware of the small gathering of bloggers nearby waiting to snap her photo.
Ms. Lake, a six-foot-tall Australian, worked the runway circuit as a model before obtaining a fine arts degree in photography. She has shot ad campaigns and editorial features but is best known for her luminous shots of young women in London (where she now lives), contrasting the gray streets with vivid colors and splashes of prints. Last September, the Tribeca Grand exhibited some of those images.”

As New York Fashion Week nears an end and with everyone needing just a few more hours sleep, sometimes the best accessory a girl can have is a smile.
Here are some of my friends and favourite girls, outside the Reed Krakoff and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti show at NYFW.

NYFW has started, well actually truth be told we are nudging towards the end, but it feels like it has just started! What a whirlwind of shows, street style, dinners, teas, catch ups with friends, a party here and there and lots of deadlines looming!
Here is my outfit on the first day of fashion week, before it dropped to arctic temperatures (-9 degrees c. with wind chill on one day) and I piled on every piece of clothing I brought to NY, which wasn’t so chic!
I am wearing:
Rue du Mail fur trim jacket, Helmut Lang leather pants (with 3 layers of tights underneath for warmth!), Prada shirt, Virginia Johnson scarf, Lanvin boots, Chanel Bag.

I recently shot the GORGEOUS Australia’s Next Top Model winner, Montana Cox, for the campaign of Australia’s oldest shoe company, Betts. This was Montana’s first campaign and she was a dream to work with!
As you all know I love a good pop of colour, so this mixed in with the harsh Australian sun made for the perfect combination.
Fashion Week is here again!
I just arrived into a blistering cold New York City for, which keeps threatening snow. It’s Fashion Week!
New York Magazine asked me to select my favourite image of the season and also to reveal who I am looking forward to shooting this season… well as you all know, I like the new girls, the fashion assistants and the students! Although of course I can’t wait to see all my favourites as well – Caroline Issa, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Miroslava Duma, Tamu, LSD, oh the list is endless… and then there are ALL the models… oh let the games begin!
