Remember when I shot Naomi Smith for Vogue Australia’s story – style at any age at the Paris shows in Feb 2011?
In September 2011, she flew in from Africa shooting the cover story for Vogue’s December Issue and she lost her luggage! True style is when you can wear your plane clothes to the shows and some how makes it work.

Back in October, a few days after fashion month was over, GLAMOUR magazine came over my house in London to play dress ups in some of my favourite things from FW 11 collections - FUN!
Whilst I had my makeup done, made tea and attempted to pass off the organic honey drizzle cake I had bought earlier that day from my local bakery as my own; Becky the photographer set up lights all over my house (even in my bathroom!) and Rachel put together amazing outfits for me to swoon over. Thanks so much team GLAMOUR! x

P.S. Remember when Vanessa came over with her clementines in the Summer?

I remember exactly when I first met Caroline Issa. It was during New York fashion week on a hot summer’s day. Whilst everyone else was near heat stroke and melting into the pavement, she bound down the street beaming her amazing smile. She had on the most dreamy pastel outfit and I somehow convinced her to “come around the corner to some beautiful dappled light that would look amazing with your outfit!” Here’s the image below, and a few more from last Spring Summer collection.

It is SO cold outside that I think the time has come to pull out my Russian hat again. Every time I wear it, someone will inevitably come up to me and start speaking in Russian. dobryj vyechyer!
Anya Ziourova, ALWAYS looks impeccable. She is the Fashion Director at Russian Tatler and has a soft spot for one of my favourite pieces – jumpsuits. It’s pretty hard to make a jumpsuit look chic, and you have to have the body to match, although if done right, a jumpsuit can be the ultimate masculine vs. feminine mix.
I spotted Anya outside Celine SS12 Show in Paris sporting this black jumpsuit. Below is at the Haute Couture shows back in July in Paris, after Valentino in a gorgeous red number.
Christine Centenera, in her Alexander McQueen boots and Givenchy shirt. She always look incredible and perfectly undone… like she just threw it together and it just happened to look amazing.
Celestine Cooney, is cool, really cool. She is the Fashion Director of Twin magazine and she pretty much sums up everything I LOVE about London girls, just like Hannah Lambert.
She perfectly mixes a tough masculine edge with pretty feminine elements. Look at the mix of the Balenciaga leathers put with a pretty Stella summer dress and a smile – So perfectly cool.
I spotted the very cool Sophie Pera outside the Celine show in Paris, in a perfect 60′s inspired ‘purple haze’ look.
I don’t wear much vintage, although I spent all yesterday trawling the markets in East London, on the hunt for some AMAZING pieces for the Australian summer and the European Winter, and all I seemed to be drawn to were 60′s pieces. Perhaps it was the Janis Joplin I played all morning over breakfast that inspired me to attempt to ‘relive’ woodstock, although I did score some awesome pieces.
I’m listening to Muddy Waters now, perhaps that mean I’m going 50′s blues inspired next… oh dear, considering my random music tastes, who knows what kind of outfits you’ll see me in…
I am so honored to be featured in Vogue’s Best Dressed Special Edition for 2011.
Thank you so much to Anna Wintour, the entire Vogue team and also to the wonderful Robert Sullivan, whom I chatted to like an old friend for what seemed like hours about all things inspired… art, fashion and style.
